-Mother of four children – David, Andrew, Christopher & LaShawn, and grandmother of eight (known as ‘momma Butler to many).

True to her name, Rhonda has been described as one with great inner strength who possesses a heart for women, either leading them into a closer relationship with God or simply encouraging them in their day to day living.
Her husband (and pastor) took his well-deserved rest in glory on February 12, 2015. As she stood beside her husband’s casket the day his life was celebrated, the Lord clearly spoke to Rhonda giving her much -needed strength and encouragement to continue moving forward in life. Thus, she continues to live for God’s glory all the while taking every opportunity to salute her husband's legacy.
Over the years, Rhonda has had the opportunity to share as a facilitator for various ministry groups. She's currently serving a second term as president of the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist District Association and as editor of the Missionary Baptist State Convention of Missouri Minister Wives/Widow auxiliary. Additionally, she is proudly approaching 30 years of service at the University of Missouri-Columbia where she has worked in Admissions Minority Recruitment, School of Social Work and currently as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Residential Life (Housing).
