On July 7, 2018, Black Women Widows Empowered met with the founder of Come Together Widows and Orphans, Dianah Kamande, during her prolonged stay in America. During this discussion, four women, Dr. Beverly Wallace, Angela Williams, Claudia Picot and BWWE founder, Sabra Robinson asked questions, shared stories and listened intently to Dianah as she passionately shared how best BWWE can partner with her organization.
While the hope is for BWWE to assist in several ways, at this time, we are thrilled to announce that we have agreed to help provide sanitary towels for the females.

Did you know that it costs $5 (or Kenya shillings 500 per month)? For one year, it costs $60 to insure one widow per year.

Did you know that it costs $1 to keep a girl in school during her menstruation period?
Did you know that it costs $3 to purchase boys boxer shorts?
Building a Center
CTWOO’s vision is to build a center that will have the following facilities:
Safe Houses (for abused widows, battered women and abused children)
School-Every child has a right to education even if in a safe center
Counselling Center
Church
Administration Block
Vocational training skills Center
Kitchen Block and Green Houses
