Happy Women's Day, ladies!
For this Women’s Day, I would like to announce an awesome initiative for our Black Widow Magic theme, which provides a chance for anyone to recognize a widow of color who may seem to fall under the radar for their awesome work. Here’s a chance to nominate a black or brown widow for their endless efforts of helping other widows and also a chance to nominate those who may be experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one.
Black Widow Magic is a feeling, an expression of accomplishment, and resilience for the black and brown widow who has decided that her past struggle will not define her current state. She has decided to move forward and empower others with renewed strength, zest, and faith. This woman is unstoppable and is consistent in empowering her widowed sistas.
Do you know someone who exemplifies Black Widow Magic? If she performs all of these qualities identified below, then she is eligible for a nomination.

Nominate a widow before April 21 to be recognized for National
Widow’s Day, May 3
Nominate a widow abroad before June 9 to be recognized for International Widow’s Day, June 23
Nominate a widow before August 17 to be recognized for National Grief Awareness Day, August 30
