This picture is worth 1000 words to me because I was truly in a great place.

This picture was taken during what would have been my 28th year wedding anniversary that took place weeks ago and yet I was happy! I was elated! I was blessed...and still am!

This picture reflects an average me...with hardly any makeup. In time I've learned to remove people from my life who served no purpose.

There comes a time in your life when you have to upgrade your mind, body, spirit and questionable acquaintances. Think of it as removing those wire hangers and replacing them with the best wood grain hangers you can find. I miss Herb terribly but he wanted me to be happy. I'm happy for him because he is no longer in pain. So what do I do? I prepare my mindset to glean off of the following things:

1) Be inspired to just be.

2) Greatness is ahead of you.

3) Smile often, kiss much and keep that passion alive.

4) You have nothing to prove but to just be yourself and age gracefully if you can.
